Never really liked verts until i got a good deal on a '73 Vert Vette - that was a SWEET ride! Since i'm not buying until next year, i'll have to give the topless version a good look.

They did a good job aside from all that clutter on the trunk lid.

I don't have a suggestion, but I think it looks out of place with the brake light, spolier, and antenna. Needs to be re-thought.

Pleased that some love the convertible - even without seeing it in person.

....and then there was the SS front fascia debacle -- how many people swore they'd tear the SS fascia off and put on a V6 fascia......

What I'd suggest (ONCE AGAIN) is that you wait until you see it in person to make final judgement..............

I like it....you'll notice some of the things people around here didn't like (like the mast antenna) is gone.

How did they ruin it? All they did is take off the roof and b/c-pillars. So? Is every other convertible a ruined version of a car? Well in your case yes. Because what do you think they do with all convertibles. It's the same car with no roof. No difference at all. Do don't blame GM for something that just happens.

There's no key hole on the hard top because the rear seats fold down. But on a convertible that wouldn't be the case. And in the event of power failure you need a key to gain access to trunk. All convertibles hide the key hole somewhere, some more discretely than others. Maybe GM will put it behind the bow tie like VW does since they stole the VW switchblade key.

Wrong, the Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice had no keyholes on the trunk.... and your top was under the trunklid, if you had a power failure and the top was down you could not put it up. if the top was up with no power and the door was locked you still had a keyhole on the drivers door to open door then the hood and get to the power terminal to jump it off and get the trunk open.

I don't know why people think it has to have a keyhole....

I like it. I may trade in my 2lt for the vert. If only they still had ABM it would be a no brainer for me. But I do love ABM, don't know if I want to get rid of it but I don't need 2.
