Question Kind of a dumb question. . . about headrest

Im pretty positive i know the answer but the boss (my gf) wants me to ask it anyways hahahaha.

anywho the 2010 camaro headrests do not lean forward or backward right? just up and down?

I took my car to be washed one day and they moved the seat forward and brought the head rest up and when my gf went to get in she obviously noticed its uncomfortable. so i told her to put the headrest down and move the seat back plus lean the back part back but she thinks the headrest is still leaned forward.

thanx an advance for your answers.

I never quite understood this - how does it restrain your head? I rest my head on it at stoplights.

It restrains your head when you get in an accident to prevent it from going too far backward. "Resting" your head on it while driving is generally a no-no I guess.

When some fool rear ends you at a stop light, the head restaint helps stop your head from snapping back and giving you whip lash.

I can't believe anyone would complain about the Camaro's seats, I have owned lots of cars and my IOM leather interior is so comfortable, I have no complaints at all with my interior.

yea my gf has never once complained about the seating. just because the ding bat at the cleaners moved it up. That made her think the headrest/restraint was moved forward also but the backing of the seat was moved forward also which made it appear to look more forward then mine (the driver side)
