How do I get my Halo's to turn on all the time like DRL?

I have tried searching - though if you can find the post that I couldnt, I would REALLY appreciate it...

I need a harness that plugs into the OEM wiring harness that will turn on my halo's every time the car is started/running (like DRL) and allow me to leave my headlight switch in the "auto" setting.

All I want to do is make my Halo's turn on anytime the car is on, without having to "turn the knob"... I dont care if they are somehow connected to the DRL and the DRL stay on all the time (that would actually be preferable) I just know I want my Halo's on all the time.

Why have them if I cant show them off?

Does someone sell a harness? I dont need a bunch of options, I just need the Halo's on ALL the time.

Thanks!
-Ryan

lol is this a joke? but what ever. Theres a turn knob on the left side of the steering wheel, i believe if you turn it once to the right it will keep your halos on, just dont forget to turn it off after your done.

Yep, the knob does it one turn right is halos, 2 turns is halos and hids....there are harnesses availiable, one on here is around 70 for a wired harness that will keep halos on with drls...just depends on what route you want to go, money or no money spent. The car will beep at you if you dont turn the knob back to auto when its off and the door is open, like pretty much any other car. I turn mine on because parking in the garage I do not like my hids going on than off for a minute or so each time I pull in and out.

No, not a joke...

maybe I should have been more specific... hows this:

I need a harness that plugs into the OEM wiring harness that will turn on my halo's every time the car is started/running (like DRL) and allow me to leave my headlight switch in the "auto" setting.

Does that make it more clear and less joke-like?

Do you know who makes the harness?

I have seen harnesses that turn DRL into always-on, but havent found one that makes the Halo's always-on WITH the DRL.

I did mine the the old and cheap way. i just ran a cable to the ignition fuse on the fuse box, so when ever i turn the key the Halos come on.

The last cable of the harness is the Halo, and it already has ground from the OEM harness.

It took like 10 minutes and it cost nothing.

Just so everyone is on the same page with this wired harness your drl lights will always be on when your headlights or halos are on, you will not be able to turn them off at night if your headlights or halos are on. This is the same way the other vendor harness operates

I am almost ready to do that... I was just hoping to not have to cut/splice the OEM harness if I could avoid it, but I DO appreciate you letting me know which wires to splice, that will make things easier if I cant find a harness. thanks!

I requested this many times in other threads, nothing out there right now does what we want.
I too want to ditch the DRL's and light up the halos without using the knob, no luck

Why don't you run the DRL hotwire to the halos and the halo hotwire to the DRL's?

If you're looking to have the halo's on with the DRL's everytime you start your car, you're going to need to splice/tap into wires. Find the blue wire at the DRL and connect with the purple wire on the drivers side and do the blue wire at the DRL and brown on the passengers side. So its one connection per side. Hope this helps.

I can make a harness but it is going to cost a little more than what I am charging for the others I'm selling because it will require more GM factory plugs and another relay, possibly two. But these would be on a one by one basis and you can't expect to get them right after you pay. I would have to order the parts and redesign my harness so that everything is still plug and play.

that sounds relatively straight forward... I will take a look tonight.

Thanks!
