sometimes. in some states, willful removal of required legal devices wont just be dropped in court. now if you have a headlight or a tail light go out thats one thing because you might not know about it. but taking off the wiper blades on purpose is just not worth it in the first place.

and just in case you didnt know, they have rainx that you put into your windshield washer fluid tank.

Well in the country(yes, this is a joke) of Texas, its just a fix it ticket and they drop it. Ive been driving around without wipers on alot of my vehicles and had no problem. And the rain-x that you put in the washer fluid isnt the same as the stuff you actually put on your windshield. Im not tryin to teach old dogs new tricks though. Its just a cleaner look without wipers at all.

It's not, and it doesn't work as well...but it is a lot easier, especially in the winter.

Then, there's always just adding regular Rain-X to your washer fluid. Or you can go the Belt & Suspenders route:

Can't somebody invent a wiperless windshield for gosh darn sakes.? lol..
We deserve a vehicle with perpetually clean windows no matter what muck you get on them.
Why, once I finish fourbying up the mountain every morning to my ski-do with my camaro, I expect clean frost free windows to see my reindeers and polar bears with.

Somebody said they were going to be on the hood? I can't stand that and the thought of having to take them off and paint the hood..............hopefully they are not. I have not seen any pics with them on the hood. The new mustang moved them to where they should be but that was cause of the powerdome hood...

read thru the pages of this thread... we included pictures of them.... they are clipped onto the hood. wont be hard to pop them off to repaint the car.

Seriously? Do people read at all before hitting that daunting "reply" button anymore?

Anyway, I'm slightly disappointed but not much. I love the integrated wiper/washers that GM trucks use. It's a nice even spray across entire windshield and it still works at highway speeds unlike most hood-sprays. Oh well, very minor thing and fun to notice. Great thread!

People who use their washer fluid sprayers while moving (especially if someone is behind them) deserve a nice firm dope slap.

Might I recommend that you give me a decent following distance, if washer fluid bothers you that much...

That's American ingenuity right there...I just got a German car as a platform for it. :flag2:

If I'm getting a light mist of oil-infested highway spray while on the interstate you can bet your ass I'm washing my windshield. Sorry about your luck for riding my ass.
