Each part has its' own part #, so I can't see why you couldn't individually order the parts you want. I am sure they are on here somewhere. Try a search for "Ground effects part #'s" or something along those lines

I'm not sure, but I believe so... If not then just let your dealer know you don't want the front lip installed. You might have to buy the whole thing, but at least you'll have the look you want

has anyone done this or is this pretty unusual. i just like the sides and back but dont care that much how the front part juts out like it does. I prefer the stock front.

It's different on the V8 how? Because of a non operational mailbox slot (and a larger mouth that also serves no purpose)? The kit itself looks almost exactly identical.

I have the kit and I like it except for the front lip spoiler. I am going on number 3 as they keep coming off. Under warranty so I'm good with it.

I've considered removing the front GFX on my SS. The clearance issues can be a pain.

On a positive note the front ground effects do seem to work. Someone threw a pop can on the road in front of me one day, the air flow picked it up lifted it about 20' over the car. No contact at all.

They are 2 different parts, however. The V6 gets it's own GFX front lip.

(The stock SS front facia has a slight outward bulge that the V6 does not so the part has to be different to line up)

There is a good comparison between the original SS front spoiler and the new redesigned SS front spoiler in this thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=78097&page=2 The revised front spoiler for the SS carries P/N 92248561 and mounts with brackets using 13 rivets across the front and two rivets on each side.
