The dealerships don't have to put money up front either way. They don't have to put up any money until 30 days after the car arrives on the lot. Then they only have to pay a months interest. Only a few small dealerships actually buy the cars and thats usually because they don't have very good credit with GMAC or the bank. So, even if they order a SOLD camaro, if you don't take delivery until the 31st day, they still have to pay a months interest on that car and they will probably add it into your final price.

Nothing on GM Launch even this morning....how about before posting something like this you get some proof? If the dealer said he got a letter, ask him to show it to you...it wouldn't have been that hard.

Regardless, my family's dealerships have not received a letter like this so either it is plain not true....or the letter is still in the mail.

That's not really true, they did an update on the 4th of Dec. I posted it in another thread. It was something to do with the letters going out and being delayed for people the had a symbol in their name, like Mr "&" Mrs; or john "&" Jane doe...etc...

.Nothing excited or earth shattering, but an update non the less.

I wish there was a more consistant update too.
