I agree. Btw, when you are looking at these different options....its not about the maximum RWHP and RWTQ that you get....its really about the RWTQ band from around nearly 3000 rpms to around 6000 rpms or so.

What I'm trying to say is that we see some of these different chargers that peak at the end and look great when you talk about max power numbers. However, a 600 or 800 rwhp KB will destroy a similarly powered 600 or 800 rwhp Pro Charger (and beyond that too) for these Camaros...why? because if you look at the torque curves, for equal maximum power...the KBs and Maggies will have considerably superior torque in the mid range....and with the weight of these cars...you are going to need that.

Well said.

The KB benefits from having the low and midrange power as well as great linear hp all the way to the top. It's like the best of both worlds. Twin Screw all the way.

You're going to love it. I'm excited for you. I had one on my L99 and it was great. The best part was the sound. KB whine is the best.

I traded in the Camaro.

My car put down 470 rwhp/440 rwtq, I think at like max 17 degrees timing on 91 octane tune with 11.2 avg AFR -- so a real conservative tune.

I put 1 7/8" LT's on and for various reasons (namely heat and perhaps even a frequency issue that was setting off the knock sensors) my car did not make all of the timing that we were commanding so I didn't see an increase in horsepower. But I did see an increase of 20 ft/lbs of rwtq.

My car was making that number at like 14 degrees of timing, so it would have made more if we got the 18 degrees like we were after and combine that with the fact that the temp was like 100* F outside, so it was a very hot day.

I could feel the difference that the headers made for sure. It was clear as day (butt dyno), but that's because my car was probably making the commanded timing number when my car was moving and air was moving over my car.

But, a Camaro with headers, a KB and aftermarket catback is so loud that it's truly annoying (to me and many other people standing or driving next to you). To each their own. I will say my car sounded clean as can be -- no drone.

Keep in mind your power numbers will be much better if you have an LS3. The L99 stock cam is a baby and it doesn't want to make power. At least the LS3 stock cam will make some good numbers. And if you change out to a more aggressive cam, the sky is your limit.
