headlight enclosure is the volt that's just below it. you can't see the crossbar but that is the volt. I don't know what looks better. Those headlights with halos or the single halos we're getting in the camaro. Other than the lights, that looks pretty damn close to the camaro.

That's a Volt in those pics for sure.
As for that 4-door mystery car mentioned....I believe that's the new Malibu. I think it has already been given the green light for production and should be out as an '08 model. |

They did take a lot of cues from the Camaro for this thing. After the HUGE response at 2006 NAIAS, why not? like the roof slope, and the "recessed" headlights.

Watchin' it again tonight at 8, and probably tomorrow night as well. Oh, FYI, on www.earnhardtchevy.com, you can preorder 'DALE' and receive it 1 month before it goes on sale to the public. "Forever THE MAN. Forever a fan." |

Thanks a lot for that FYI, I'm sure that's what I'll do! I'll order it for mom and dad and surprise them! Yeah, I cried last night just like I cried when the news broke. I think my family mourned for atleast a week. Then Jr. wrecked that next week and it looked the exact same way... It was crazy. Racing DEFINITELY isn't the same and never will be.

It was a great movie.... i def kept it on the DVR. I remember exactly where i was when that happened too, its one of them moments you will never forget.
Did you see how DW went from happy to tears right after his brother won and he seen Dale on the infield. It choked me up for sure. |

Its too bad that CMT doesn't offer the same programming on both sides of the border. I would have loved to watch it but there was some sort of sitcom on.

I like the idea of a Roush Camaro just like I like the idea of a Saleen Camaro... but that's mostly because I like seeing rats jump from a sinking ship lol
seriously, though, I believe Saleen will be offering aftermarket parts and I believe Roush will want in on that action, too... but GM isn't going to turn their new star over to just anyone... you can bet that GMMG and SLP will be the first in line to get test mules to work on and you can also bet that dealerships like Tom Henry Chevrolet and Berger Chevy will be the pride and joy dealerships that get first choice for special edition package offered from the factory... those are trusted, long time dealerships that have been with Chevy through thick and thin, so dont look for GM to just go and give away a market to long standing Ford guys just because Saleen got to make a Camaro Concept body and put it onto a GTO chassis and driveline. now the Roush Silverado, that could be cool... and I'd love to see Roush doing some work with the GM cars and trucks... Roush is a good company with a proven record of performance... maybe they're tired of starting off with slow cars and trucks to start off with and want to make some real performance vehicles.

I hate to say it, but a VP from Roush Racing spent a few hours at my store today. It appears that they are using the Silverado as a stepping stone to get into the pants of my baby Camaro.
Not to hip on the idea, but i'll probably be ordering it.... I will let you know when I hear more, but it won't be until they are filming the install here at the store. |

IMHO...I COULD NOT buy a Roush-moded Camaro...that is Ford-talk,period. SLP-moded,ya in a sec. When I got the 69,I liked what Foose was doing on t.v.,his showed inspired/teased me so much that the mags for the 69 could ONLY be Foose, which are the new shoes for the car this summer. Optional Foose mags for the 2010,I'd pay for,A Saleen 800 hp Z28 SS IROC.....not me
