Now I've went and done it -

I work in the parts department at a Chevrolet dealership and I drive in past Camaro's every day. They are constantly taunting me

. This forum doesn't help much either, if you know what I mean....

So this morning I went up to Randy and ordered a black on black 2SS/RS Auto. I have plans for a custom paint job this winter and several mods along the way.

This is my first new car. I useually take my wifes hand me downs and finish running them into the ground.

I'm right there with you. I ordered my new 2011 SS only a week ago and it seems like forever. Hang in there, we'll get to our delivery, just take one day at a time!

Thanks for the congrats and complements on my 40 everyone. I have never been this enthused about a new car. I already have a street scenes splitter sitting in my garage for the car. I have been looking at a few other body parts to get from some of the sponsors here and an exhaust that will breath a little louder for me as well.

Well apparently the employee deals aren't that good on popular cars, meaning I don't think I get any better deals than anyone else. Same with the cool aftermarket stuff on this forum I have to pay as much as you do.

Well it's about time. You responded to a thred of mine a few weeks back and said that you liked the looks of mine and were thinking of black. I LOVE mine. did you get any any stripping package? Please send a pic when you get it, better yet, I like to see it. we are close. By the way take a look at my 57. Welcome!!!

Nice '57 Cadillac Brian.

I didn't order striping because I plan to two tone my car. I have a good sized laundry list of upgrades to do on our Camaro this winter. I plan to post details and pictures as I get closer to actually doing stuff to it.

I am a member of the http://www.columbiarivercamaroclub.com/ and will drive it to the November meeting if it isn't under construction right after I get it. We meet in Vancouver at the Delta Park Elmers on the first Tuesday every month at 6:30. If your ever interested in seeing my 40 or just talking car talk come by our next meeting. I will probably drive the 40.
