I get compliments all the time about my car... to the point of making my gf a little jealous.. someone's like "Oh, wow.. she's hot!" (runs to car).. -- then, I have to reassure her later, continually, for the rest of the night, that she's still attractive..

Though, she about died laughing at this poor guy that pulled up to me thinking my car was a Mustang..

Had an SRT-8 Challenger give me a thumbs up and an '11 GT500 smile and get me a quick rev and go (friendly)

I try real hard not to look annoyed when the car is out and about and people come up to me and start ga-ga-ing over it, but it STILL is getting compliments everywhere it goes. Was kinda hoping that would die down by now. We didn't buy it for others. We bought it for us. Sometimes I'm tempted to say "just go buy your own" but then, "all Camaro owners are d!cks!" would be the result. With this car, like it or not, you sort of got to be a goodwill ambassador for Camaro or risk turning people to the dark side.

I love the 5th Gen Camaro SS, tough, sexy looking car. To say the Challenger is "butt ugly" is just "butt stupid". Check out Vanishing Point, if you've never seen it, and maybe you'll slip back into reality. The Challenger is the best looking one out of the 3 IMO and in many other's as well.

Ah, Vanishing Point! love that movie! Just make sure you see the origional from 1970 and not that crappy Fox remake from the mid 90s, also pick up Bullitt while you are at it, 2 of the best car movies ever.

i love reading these comments received threads but is it really necessary to bash
other makes in the process ? it's all american muscle in my book. this camaro is my
very first piece of chevy muscle. my first car was a 72 mustang second was a 73
satellite sebring,3rd an 81 trans am. i got major comments in all of them. the 2010
camaro is just the new kid on the block that's all. i'll drool all day long over all the
next generation cars.

i'm just proud to say that i don't drive some ricer.

They are alright. It seems to depend on the angle and very much on the color combo etc. The camaro looks good all around IMO. The cars are very big in person and dont look quite as good in person..but just an opinion.
