Guess I'll just go do some mini burnouts in the 08 SS Impala and take long rides on the Harley til then.

Yup.. better practice them little burnouts.. because when the camaro comes home from LPE,
it's gonna be able to do really LONG ones!

Are they doing the Rear diff carriers yet? I really need one as mine is already sloppy. Anyone done the drive shaft yet?

Nope. And Nope.

I haven't liked any of the offerings for a drive shaft yet. I would like to replace what is there with something truly bulletproof. it is the weak link. Maybe not the shaft per-say - but them fiberglass doughnuts and the bolts have been snapping on people. I don't trust it.

Some Good news for those with the Racing brake rotors.. the rear's are almost done!

Weight savings of 6 lbs per rear rotor.. 12 lbs off the rear axle!!!!

They look fantastic! go to RB's site and check them out in the thread there... should be less than 2 weeks!!!

The black snakes are gonna get longer...!!!

We ALL can sympathize with your withdrawl symptoms, but it really does bite that you couldn't drive it before it left for LPE one more time. At least you've got the Harley, Impala, progress pictures, and us to help you pass the time. The ONLY danger of hanging out with us is that we'll help you think of more mods to add, and then it might take longer...

Oct 2nd, and Oct 23rd are the last 2 Cars and Coffee events. There's also test and tune at the drag strip both those days up till 4pm, if you feel like some more fun. I hear you on the clone shop. Has your wife put any spiders on her vehicle yet?

600, those racing brake rotors will be great when you finally get them on your car. We too have been looking into drive shaft upgrades. For now, we're just watching to see how the new offerings work out.

Speed, so now you're back on the road and having some more fun right? Any more trips to the track?

Yes - I am having fun again. It is the last Test & Tune at the local drag strip next friday, so I am planning on trying out the drag radials finally. Should be some decent temps and hopefully some decent times. It will be nice to see how the new gears, clutch and shifter work out at the strip also

SEMA is going to be a blast!

I'm looking forward to hanging out with all of you there.
Wife told me i'd have better luck calling the wizard of OZ to order any car parts...while I am there, than her.. said she was going to hijack my wallet and leave me credit card-less for when I am out there. LOL It must have something to do with all those MODS i've been doing all year long...

Come to think of it, there really isn't too much I need for the car, now that I added the spiffy new Pedders supercar shocks..

on second thought, I still could use: (in no particular order)
Racing Brake rear rotors
New rear end
Drive shaft
longer Wheel studs
meth/water injection kit
Oil catch can
racing seat
roll cage
racing harness

Damn... she's gonna kill or divorce me!

Speed has already given me the idea to get some Forgeline rims and Nitto tires. Might wait til I get the car home so I can smoke the stock tires off first with some monster burnouts!!

Anyone know how the Nitto's hold up when it gets colder? When raining?
