While looking at Zanio's website for more soap and quick detail spray I came across a new product called Z-CS clear seal. Has anyone heard of this or tried it?
Sorry if this has been discussed before. I did a search any didn't come up with anything. |

With the number of coats of Zaino I have on the SS, I didn't see any real benefits to Z-CS. Ed |

One I've used is their "Extreme Shine", and it's one of the "shinier" tire dressings available. I wipe it on, let it sit for a minute, and finish by wiping off any excess with a paper towel. There are other good brands such as Meguires and Mothers, which I've also used on occassion. I tend to shy away from any gels, as in my experiences, they all sling, and I don't want tire dressing on my paint. I'd also suggest that at each washing, you clean your tires to remove any old dressing, as this will prevent any buildup and keep your tires looking new. Ed |

I screwed up... Used a "scratch and swirl b-gone" product on my hood, applied by hand, not I have horrible swirling. Any way to help this without using a PC and another product?

Both Meguires and Mothers are good "over the counter" brands that can address this. But if you know of a friend with a random orbital buffer, it'll make life easier and give you the results you're after.

What kind of protection do you recomend for a Camaro owner in soggy Oregon? The weather is mostly rain, which makes the roads muddy. I can't wash the car on a daily basis, nor can I run out to the parking lot at work and dry it off everytime it rains.
Thanks! |

That would be "the basics" to protect the exterior. For the interior, reading your comment about rain/mud, I'd HIGHLY recommend investing in a set of quality rubber floor mats, and I like 'WeatherTech' matts..I've got them in my Jeep and they work GREAT! When possible, give your Camaro a good bath, and spend some time getting a good coat of wax/polish on it, and you'll be fine. Ed |
