I'm sorry i steared everyone off topic.

So anyway most recent reviews of GM cars i have heard said that this is a very nice interior which is odd for a GM.

It would be nice to see Chevy get away from so much plastic in the interior. I realize it keeps production costs down and is probably easier for suppliers to produce plastic components on a large scale, but, it would be a very welcome change to have a nice, solid interior.

^I agree. I hope that the pieces around the muffler are actual metal parts. I also hope that the colored pieces in the interior are metal.

In order to keep this car under or around 20-30k, they are going to have to cut down on the trim a lot.

Think of it this way: For every upgrade to the trim/interior they're going to have to take something back on the performance.

I'd like to see a nice balance, but as long as the seals are tight around the doors and windows, the stereo works/is upgradable, and I can read the dials, I say put the rest where it counts.

That being said, I'd like to see the seats lowered and the mirrors and windshield left alone.

I like to see most of the hood (ride high). I definitely don't want to sit on the floor

how low the car is, is one of my fav (when there isnt someone with those ungodly bright freakin headlights) things about the camaro...hell I even lowered mine a 1"1/2. gotta keep the car low... but for the ppl that dont like it I can understand why. so if they do up the ride height they'd better have a lowering kit available soon.

I'd almost rather have the seats low than the car low. I love a low car, but I'd be too afraid of speed bumps. There are some monster speed bumps out there!

It'd be sweet to have a low car with low seats, but I can just see myself looking like a fool blocking traffic because I don't want to go over a speed bump/rock/pot hole/random item lying in the street and tear up the bottom of my car.

GM wouldn't make it that low. It still has to be able to go over your regular everyday speedbumps w/out problems.

speedbumps, and curbs for the overzealous fools who think they know how to apex...

I'm sure that they'll offer, 1: adjustable seats. and 2: a lowering kit.
I've been in a 4th gen once...I like the hieght in those things, maybe a touch lower...

As for the inserts in the doors, and dash...I think they'll probably be colored material...See 2008 Vette, or Malibu...if not, I'd like them to be plexiglass of some sort so they can light up from the inside, and offer the Concept Coupe's ambiant glow.

Lighting up wouldn't be a bad idea...as long as there aren't brighter spots in one area over another...you know what I mean? In other words, I want the lit up color to be even across the whole panel...I DON'T want to see a light buld behind the panel. And I don't wouldn't want it to be that bright either.

no, it'd have to be dim-able, like the gauges...it would act kinda like the backlight on a computer screen...or fiberoptics. The light would start at the top-end of the plastic, so you don't see the source of the ligh(ever looked at your cell-phone screen almost sideways? Try it), and then just follow the plastic down, evenly...

It's called bagging your car. Air suspension to raise up while driving/speedbumps and if you feel frisky, you can drive onto grass, and lower it so it's touching the ground for the shows.
