Just installed the MRT v2

I previously had a '08 Mustang GT. I installed the Ford Racing Performance Parts axle-back muffler on it. It had a great "Growl" to it!! Well, I traded the Mustang in on a '11 Camaro 2LT. I got the car on Aug. 19th. Everything on it is Beautiful......except the Muffler system. Well, after reading a lot of posts here & listening to tons of audio clips, I decided to purchase the MRT v2 for my car. Going into the change, I knew I would not get the "Growl" I had on my Mustang. This morning I installed the MRT v2. In my opinion, it has a nice "purrrrr" to it during idling, and upon acceleration, I am extremely happy with the sound. No "Growl" like my Mustang, but much, Much, BETTER then the stock mufflers! A very nice sound coming from my v-6 engine I am Very happy with my purchase!!!

Thanks for sharing! I’m in the market but still undecided. Did you install it yourself or at a shop? I’m thinking of trying it myself since I checked with Autozone and they loan a “tailpipe cutter”:

At 63 yrs old....I'm a little too old to be doing that stuff Local Muffler shop charged me $30. If you can get that saw, the rest should be a breeze. They had old mufflers off & new ones on in 1/2 Hr.

You young geezers just tear me up! How high do you have to turn up those Beltones to see if the engine's running? LOL!

Oh, I'll be 66 tomorrow. Good to know there's some "old wood" on the forum.

Light 'em up, if you got 'em. (Tires, I mean!)

If they can make the sound, bet they'll sell more stuff to the Camaro crowd, than that horsey set.
