Compare front fascia's

This is a photo that I took at C5Fest. It is the T2 front fascia and T2 hood. Comparing it against the pictures from Michigan and San Diego the front fascia is pretty close in size and shape. It is hard to tell about the hood though, but it MIGHT give us an indication of the two T2 pieces together on the Z/28. Anyhow, just throwing my two cents out there.

For what it's worth, my mechanic told me that the Z-28 will look very close to the T2 Bumblebee. A good friend of his works in my neck of the woods and said got the contract for the front fascia and yes... carbon fiber hood. True or not, I don't know. He also mentioned past contracts with SLP when it came to the Camaro. One things for sure, this got me excited! Now come-on LS3 Hot Cam or LS7.....

I'm actually a little disappointed...
We were out in the Death Valley last week and saw a full convoy of GM test cars. Three of them were wrapped in cameo/checkered flag! Unfortunately none of them were Camaros wrapped in a new dress and i got all excited for nothing!

I’m not really familiar with GM’s lineup beside the vette and the camaro but I would guess it was something like a Silverado, a smaller right hand driven pick-up and maybe a new Malibu?

I have one or two crappy phone pictures of the sedan and my buddy took some more with his digital camera... (however, this isn't the right thread to post them anyway)

Spread that around folks! All the doubters will eat their words

Now these new photos are much better than the ones we previously posted! This Camaro Z28 was captured out testing with several other Camaros, as well as a Mustang GT500 (for comparison of course).

Seen prominently, even with the front covering is a much lower front fascia with large intakes. You can make out the shape despite the covering and it resembles the latest Transformers 3 Bumblebee Camaro front fascia. The hood cowl also looks to be more prominent than on standard Camaro.

The wheels are 20" SP550 anodized black - 20x10 front and 20x11 rears. Wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The brake calipers very much resemble those from the CTS-V.

Quad exhaust (dual pipes per side) are at the rear, and the photographer described the sound from this car as "nothing short of unholy!"

Best part is, GM was courteous enough to tape the engine specs on the dash: 6.2L supercharged V8, with Auto Transmission.

We're not interested in the spy pictures because of how the car looks (well, except for the wide tires, big brakes, and teasing creases under the front bra. Chances are almost everything on that test mule isn't production-accurate.

The fact (at the time) that there is a Z28 mule out testing was HUGE.
