Ah the age old question. You will stay at 1100 status until the dealer "places" your order against his allocation at which point the status changes to 2000. That is when GM starts to put it through the stages to gather the materials and schedule it for production. The key here is the dealers allocation. You may want to have a chat with them and understand where your order is, ie. are there sold orders ahead of yours? do they have allocation to place your order? If they tell you they have the allocation, ask them when they will place the order and then check here to see if it's been done. No change in status yet, but it really depends on when the dealer sits down to process the orders. They become available today and will be open through Sat. After that, the dealer could even do it on Tues before everything cycles Tues PM. You may just want to call them and see when they anticipate placing that order. Good Luck check back anytime.

I just asked my dealer. He said my order has been accepted by GM. It may stay 1100 for several weeks. It will be 1100 or 2000 for quite a while.
Is that truth?

2000 status as of 9/16 not exactly in production yet, but you are on your way Wed you'll be at 2500 and then on to 3000 status. About 10days or so from there, you should have a TPW Check back anytime.

Yes it has been accepted by GM, however, it could sit there forever until the dealer places it and then the status changes to 2000. Once it hits 2000, it moves right along. So, he didn't really lie, he just didn't give you the whole picture. Feel free to check back any time.
