Help with new TPMS

I got some new wheels and they came with tires and TPMS....

They all read 32 lbs and are all really 35lbs they don't seem to change.....

I did the learn on the console is there more I need to do?

There is no light on the dash....

I have only driven a few miles....

What make you say they are @ 35 and not 32? Your gauge could be off

You are sure you did went through the process of setting the TPMS up properly? You went through and raised or lowered the pressure on each tire and waiting for the horn to beat at each location?.....oh wait, I think that is the process for my wife Traverse, I am not sure if the Camaro is the same....

I would say to go through the learning process again

I went through that process and then put air in the tires....

I had close to 40lbs in acouple of the tires and it wouldn't change on the read out....

Did a learn like 3 or 4 times....

My guess is you didn't get GM TPMS sensors, but generic brand X. There's a thread here about problems with generic TPMS. My stock ones read about 1 lb different than most tire guages--I don't view that as a problem.

My guess is that you have one of the earlier Camaros from 2010 and the sensors are for the later Camaros from 2010/2011. Just a guess, though.

There also is a flash/update that your dealer can do so that the car automatically detects the TPMS, Al Op. told me about that.....I don't remember if that is out, or coming out....

I've used OEM GM sensors from 4 digit VIN cars and high 5 digit VIN cars and they all work. What doesn't work are many aftermarket sensors. Make sure you do the tpms learn procedure in the owners manual.

My sensors are schrader 28206 314.9 Mhz.

I did get them to learn in today and they seemed to be working right.

I haven't driven it since I got them learned in......

I hope these aren't the ones that will drop out after you get to highway speed.....

Anybody know if they are going to work?
