SOOOO i just discovered sport mode - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

In my defense I've only had my car for a few months. I honestly thought there was only "drive" mode or "manual" mode. Somehow i came across this "sport" mode while i was reading some reviews online and became confused because I thought they were using the sport term meaning manual! So go ahead and make fun of me! At least i admitted it haha! Anyways i know I will be driving in sport mode for now on after going out and testing it just now!!

enjoy it! it's a different beast in "sport mode". the car becomes more aggressive... very useful when you want to get up around someone, or to get out of a tight situation.

it becomes second nature when you want to accelerate harder, I shift to sport right away. It's awesome lol

How do I get into "sport mode"?

Assuming you have the A6, pull shifter all the way back, you will see an S appear on the DIC where the D for drive was.Then if you want hit the left side tap shift button and a M1 will appear, now you are full manual and must upshift using the righthand tapshift button or downshuift with the left one.

ok i have the a6 with a tune now when in D my trans shifts very hard but in S not M the trans shifts soft so i know the trans tune has eliminated torque managment in D only so where do people think its more aggressive in S which i have heard torque managment cant be tuned out, now im not talking about full M mode, could a tuner verify this for me please ?
