Sport Mode problem.
After putting it in Sport mode and Competitive Mode (first time I ran it hard in a week or so), I noticed that after letting off the throttle it would BARELY decelerate and made a little backfire like noise. After I pulled in my driveway I put it back into drive, then took it around the block to see if it would happen again. I pushed it to like 3 RPMs and it sounded fine, stopped and then put it back into sport mode again and gunned it and it was fine there. I don't THINK I limped the transmission because it wasn't giving me any service warning signs in the info-center, it wasn't preventing me hitting higher RPMS, and it was fine after that one little incident? Should I be worried?

Sport mode holds the gear even if you let off the gas for up to 45 seconds. This is normal.
Use search it has been talked about alot. |

Sport Mode
I am not quite sure what everyone is talking about when they say sport mode.
Is everyone talking about traction control???? I have a V8 manual, there is nothing in this car that says sport mode... lol. |

Im not sure on a auto you should just push it over to sport.....on M6 you push traction controle 2 times and it will go in to comp mode i find that i can shift faster in comp mode it doesnt try to limit how fast you go in to gear.....And on the screen it should show comp mode
