The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next

ABS can't sense bald tires.. it senses that it has no traction and the the tire is looked up when you are still moving forward. Now, if you have bald tires the ABS can't do anything with the diminishing amount of traction that the tires have.

sorry for the car.

Unhappy

I remember when the Acura NSX came out in like late 90/early 91 and it was at the time the only car to use aluminum for all the body panels. and i read a article in one of my dads car mags where one sideswiped a guardrail basically destroying the entire right side of the car. the car was 60K (this was 20 years ago FYI) and the damage estimate was in the high 20k to low 30k !

My 2000 Jeep Sahara Wrangler was rear ended dead center on the 5th of July. I bought it new, now has 31,000. miles, solid white, white hard top, cruise, tilt, automatic. The wife and I have only used it for pleasure, New Orleans, Colorado trips, gulf coast trips, etc. I just knew the others guys insurance was going to try to total it for peanuts. I kept telling them I wanted it fixed, not totaled. They finally agreed and I got it back about 2 weeks ago. It looks great, I can not tell it has ever been tagged. I got a copy of the bill showing repairs and it was a little over $11,000.00. Glad to have her back and my 2SS seems to be happy to see her also.

In most cars if the air bags blow its totaled lol...Airbags costs thousands of dollars to replace them and the dash. Had a 07 Subaru last week $800 just for the driver side airbag in the steering wheel alone haha. In things a cpl years old at least. Brand new cars like ours they always replace the majority of the parts instead of using filler on them, unless its just a small ding.
