And a new one I just found. On the underside of the center console lid, there is a clip where you can keep you registration and insurance cards or other thin items.

A/C turning off when the car starts to overheat was confirmed by several of the Lone Star Camaro members at the last event at Texas Motor Speedway.

I have been trying to figure out where to keep my insurance card - going to check this out tonight!

Your car has a limiter on it and it only will go to 118 miles per hour.

I just got my car up to 120 the other day and I have it recorded on my GPS driver mod needed lol j/k is that just the AT models?

It could be handy as I'm going to the track on friday and would like to see if I can hit max speed aero limited rather than governor limited.
it is just BS, I think I was drinking when I made it up but feel free to give it a try

Buy a Bluetooth Stereo Gateway and a car charger that fits it (Blackberry one works best) then bluetooth your phone to the Gateway. Plug in aux cable into Car and Gateway. Then you have wireless control of your music through your phone playing through your stereo.

Had to take my car into the dealer (after only 83 miles) because it kept telling me to tighten the gas cap. It WAS tight. The dealer finally found a hose that was not connected at the evaporative control module.

Funny thing is, the new Camaro must be connected to the internet and talk to the "God of comuters" at GM to do a reset of the check engine light. That took them 1.5 hours to accomplish.

Another funny thing. . .

If you have some cell phones paired to your car and you are within bluetooth distance and try to make a call from the handset outside the car, it will try to connect using the Camaro's speakers and not your handset. So if you are milling around the parking lot and try to make a call and it doesn't appear to go through, that could be what happened to you.

No, your gps is off then. I had my car (m6) on a dyno and it wouldn't go past 118.

If you put the gas cap carefully OVER the gas cover I found it will stay.

The GPS will always be more accurate than the speedo. The speedo may indicate 118 but the car will actually be moving at 120. Speedos are mechanical while GPS is time/distance calculation. While a GPS may be off at a particular time it is consistantly updating the speed. The mechanical speedo, if off, will always be off and at a percentage not a set MPH. I.E. if your speedo reads 100 mph and you are actually travelling at 110 you have a 10% error on the high side. So at an indicated 50 MPH you would actually be travelling at 55MPH. Indicated 25MPH would be an actual 27.5MPH and so forth. HTH.

Also the governor is probably set based on the speedo reading, therefore if the speedo reads 118 when the actual speed is 120 then the car would go an actual 120 before the fuel cut off. The speedo would still say it cut off at 118.

No problem, Papa T - there is 10 pages on this thread and 7 of them are repeats - makes for slow reading if one wants to just see updated info. Didn't mean to be so hard on you . . .

No worries...
I went back and deleted that post so others do not have to "Re-Read", at least mine.

Anyone else have an issue that if the driver's door is left open for too long the the car will not start and locks the key into the ignition? Once you close the door for about 10sec, the car will perform as normal.

I am assuming that this is some sort of security measure.
