Underdrive pulley?
Is it worth it? I have heard serious mixed reviews! Any help guys. I only have a CAI, muffler delete. Getting Solo Hi Flow Cats soon too.

I have the SLP pulley on mine and haven't had any problems. The car stays between 13 to 14 volts and all accessories work like they did before the install. It's a reasonably easy install, and the hp/dollar ratio is pretty good. I say go for it!

SLP says 8-10. I haven't had the car on a dyno, but the butt dyno could tell a difference.

I second what tarheel34 said and have had no issues since installation this past July. TSP posted approx 9hp gain. I dynoed the car after performing all mods so I do not have a hp gain per mod, but it made a noticable increase from the moment it was installed and we are very pleased with the results. Very worthwhile mod in my opinion.
You may also want to consider adding the ADM race scoop to your CAI, especially if it is a closed box type, and installing a washer bag as well.

Sorry to get a little O/T but the ADM scoop and washer bag is next for me. I just can't find a washer bag that I like. Any suggestions?

i think they are... it's roughly 10 REAR WHEEL horsepower gain.... but it gains it throughout the powerband... not just peak. I will take 10 hp across the board over 15 hp peak any day of the week.

Thought I would pass this along in case anyone didn't see it. I'm up in the are about the pulley. Not sure it's really going to be worth the effort. I would be curious to see if anyone really got 8-10 rwhp.

Caverman,
I achieved 400 rwhp with these mods, including the TSP UD pulley, so it has to be worth something. C.A.I cold air intake, ADM race scoop, TSP underdrive pulley, hand ported exhaust manifolds with high-temp coating, rear cat removed, front cat ported for 3 inch inlet pipe with header wrap, polished throttle body, Mobil 1 trans fluid, Royal Purple gear lube in rear, Rev Xtreme catch can, stock exhaust system from cats back including stock mufflers. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106599

We have dyno tested these a few times in the past. They gain power, are relatively cheap, and don't have any side effects. What more could you ask for?

Tarheel34,
Regarding the washer bag, everything I did, including part numbers and prices, was in the post. "ADM scoop from ADM Performance: $77 shipping included Black CAI cold air intake, Apex-Speed: $449 shipped 65-66 Mustang windshield washer bag install kit, CJ Pony Parts, P/N WWK2: $24 shipped Electric windshield washer pump, Summit Racing, ANCO P/N 65-01: $15 Total cost approximately $580, including various tie wraps, heat shrink, etc." SMGSS, Yes, the UD pulley is a very effective mod.
