I am assuming that this is some sort of security measure.

Have not noticed but interesting. Will have to check this one out.

I have been trying to figure out where to keep my insurance card - going to check this out tonight!
Would that be when everyone was idling in the long line waiting to go in?

Why not just buy a double ended 3.5mm adapter cable at the Radio Shack for about $5.00. That is what I did. It is plugged into the auxilliary in the console and the phone even works hands free with it. My phone is a Motorola Backflip. I play the 625 MP3 songs that are on my phone. I also plug the car charger into the power outlet at the same time to keep the phone charged.

+1; Using the bluetooth and my blackberry resulted in the sound being of quality!

Sometimes the "newer" technology is not always the "better" technology, depending on the application.

I just noticed this weekend that the big round horn button/Camaro/airbag on the steering wheel is not in the center of the wheel. So if you are turning the wheel further and faster than normal driving, you can see it oscillate around the center oddly

Yup - Though I'm pretty sure everyone cooled down quite a bit when they hit the track...

Yes, I think I remember reading that in a review somewhere. Have not noticed myself. But will likely look now that you mentioned it.

Both the Pioneer and Sirius Starmate radios I have in my old car had the option of switching preset radio stations by use of the up / down scan buttons. You can use the up / down buttons to recall radio station frequencies assigned to preset tuning buttons. When you continue to press the up button after you hit the last preset for that favorites set, it goes to the next favorites set.

For example, the up button would go through presets Fav1-1, Fav1-2, Fav1-3, Fav1-4, Fav1-5, Fav1-6, Fav2-1, Fav2-2, etc.

The only button similar to the up / down button on the base Camaro radio are the two SEEK buttons. When I am on one of my XM favorites sets, the SEEK just goes through one XM station after another rather than going through one preset after another.

The reason I'm asking is that when I'm driving, I prefer to hit one button that will allow me to cycle through all of my presets. As it appears now, to go to the next preset, you have to know what preset button is currently pressed in order to press the next one. That requires my eyes to be off the road.

Is there some secret radio setting which will change how the SEEK button functions? The MENU/SELECT button performs the one station at a time function so the SEEK should be able to select presets instead.

Kinda would like to know if anyone was able to get this working too. I'd prefer the steering wheel controls to seek through the xm stations, rather than presets... at least until i find stations that i actually like...

The Great Grandaddy 5thgen, the Concept car...

...cost approximately $2,000,000 dollars, and the Chevy bowties were made of billet aluminum and real gold leaf.

Well it was only like 150 degrees that day and we all sat on the concrete parking lot forever before getting to go inside. I ran to that gas station across the highway and bought a gallon worth of water which was gone before we even got in the Speedway!

Thanks!!!! I always hold the cap in my hand while pumping so it doesn't touch the car. I'll have to try this next time.
