Nope, I have the axle back. I think my car sounds perfect with this system.
It is not overly loud, but has a very nice deep rumble. REMEMBER, this is very subjective. I would not buy anything unless you have heard it in person if possible. What sounds great to me may not to someone else. If you have the L99 I think it is even more important to hear it in person as I have read on hear multiple L99 guys that do not like the exhaust that they chose.

Pink's car has the MBRP cat-back.
I know it's a V6, but I think they do a good job of giving the car a nice deep sound.
As for me. I plan on getting a muffler delete. Cheap, easy, and fast. And I think it sounds pretty awesome. SAchevy had muffler and cat delete in his car, and it was pretty nice, and loud.

X2

A forum member just came to town to buy my original wheels and tires. He commented on how nice the car sounds and asked what system I purchased.

Its a delete. I recently took a several hundred mile road trip and it was not a problem at all.

And now we enter the real world...

Ford has always done a good job on exhaust note and volume when stock. Modified 5.0's sound like sex on wheels.
DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU ,BUT AT MY AGE ALL I WANT REGARDING SEX HAS TO BE ON A NICE CONF/ BED !

Ford has done a great job on exhaust sound, far better than the General. Face it, GM is a LONG way from perfect. By the way, the 5.0 is not that slow.

What does that mean? The new mustang is pretty strong. Runs a little better than a stock Camaro.

Just saying. I like my Camaro fine though.

was mainly just teasing... but if you want to get to nitty gritty of it, i tested out a little bit of all the modern pony cars, enjoyed this one the most, and the sound of the LS3 was something I noted when I picked this car out...

I don't know everything, but I know a bit about this drivetrain having built several vettes in pretty much any way you can do one. I do not know your experience, ability or skills, so I will not say that you are out of your league here.

You got me on the floor mats and fancy stuff though, not that I'm interested in the penis measuring contest you started.

Lets just enjoy the cars. Some of us have found that an intake and a cam kit was better spent money. Lets leave it at that. I did not go the other route because it would be a waste of money considering my upcoming mods.

I would like to see a dyno sheet on the same car that shows a muffler delete being far inferior to an aftermarket catback.

Please. Stop with the bench racing. Stop flooding the thread with nonsense, and get back on topic please.
