Went to Midnight Madness this past Sat. Took the GT500 and friend of mine took his 2011 GT. Best times were:

His 2011 GT -
11.44@116

GT500 -
12.84@114

Traction was horrible. Ton of radial tired cars and they ripped up the track pretty bad. I had to feather it down the entire track to keep wheelspin to a minimum. Wish I had some stickies for the GT500. Bone stock it would have run in the mid 11's. D/A on those runs was right at 1200' above sea level.

Only saw 1 5th gen out there from San Antonio. Has a license plate with the LOUD on it. Anyone who is a member here? It is a cammed, intaked, built black auto running 12.4's with drag radials.

That was me @ Midnight Madness. Stock motor just small cam intake and exhaust.

Very cool however I would not call a cammed car "stock".

Any word on the Z06? Looked like axle or transmission break.
