Esta dragstrip has nothing going on next Saturday (16th) that I know of. The 23rd is also an option if they don't rainout on the 17th, but even if they do we can attend the test and tune that day. I am going to call them and get a price to rent it for the day. How many would be interested in going. The more that go, the better since it would keep the costs down. Dave said they rent out the 1/4 mile track in Owego for $300 so I doubt Esta will be much more than that. Just 10 peeps would put us at $30 each if its not any more than Owego. Test and tunes usually cost about $25 so It would be a pretty good deal. I will call them tonight and get details. ****Just a helmet is required.

Ah, man. This weekend no good. Have to get the spoiler striped Sat morn and am sitting on a potential out-of-town bad news trip. Like to do it sometime though.

Sorry ROD1. I am booked and I think we will be putting it away within the next two weekends. If we can put something together early next year I would like to make it. I have never been to a drag track and want to give it a try.

I am not speaking for Andy- who will want to Rod...... but I don't think our back tires will withstand this- at least this year- the tires are starting to look like Dave's (Barton Industries) BALD!!!! I'm sure this has nothing to do with the burn out video at all....hmm....

I still want a few miles of "normal driving" before we put it away- will get fresh tires for next year over the winter. Sounds fun though- actually I would like to drive in it myself

and I think I will since my name is on the title too and I have a helmet damn it

Ok well I can try to schedule it for the following Saturday if that works better for most. Im not sure they will even do it so its all based on conjecture at this point. I will change to include a preferred date.

I don't feel like driving alternate tires up there to save him...

Although, I got stuck with my winter rat today (Jeep GC)- the battery died- and all Andy said was "I don't know what to tell you" so I guess he could just deal with it if the tires chopped off up there...LOL!

That's a very good price. I think they want alot more for a track day at Lebanon Valley. Even if you get an event organized for this month, please put something together for next year. With more advance notice I'll bet you get a great turn out. I'll PM you some questions...

I just sent a email to jeff at the windmill and thanked him for a great show,and a few trophies. Also asked him if it was possible for us to get the hill and the row in front of it .We may need it
