And I have already decided to get a Z28, after my kids are out of college and off my insurance plan Then I am gonna dog SS owners like nobody's business! Much love to all!
when u get your Z28, feel free to dog the SS. The Z28 is a supercharged SS plus bits of pieces that many of us SS already have on our SS except. Be sure not to bring it with a stock tune or it/you will get raped. A Z28 will be parked next to my SS and I know the SS will still beat the stock Z28. Basically, you will be doing more to it just to catch up to some of us. Ahhh, I doubt you understand. Careful what you wish for there V6 man.

Whats your 1/4?

Wont the Z28 hold value better than a modded Ss?

I used to drop in at Warner-Robbins to meet with B/G Robert L. Scott Jr. when he worked at the Museum of Aviation.
What a Man.
Did you get to meet him?

There's nothing wrong with the V6. I am the owner of an SS LS3, and I do most of my driving in town. There are not very many opertunities I have to use the power on my SS. Most of the time, I don't even get the RPM's past 2000-2200, so in reality, the V6 is a pretty good deal. You can make the v6 look pretty sick as well, for less than what an SS cost.

Muscle car

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Muscle car is a term used to refer to a variety of high performance automobiles.[1][2] The term generally refers to American 2-door rear wheel drive mid-size cars, and sometimes full-size cars equipped with large, powerful, V8s, and sold at an affordable price for street use and both formal and informal drag racing.

That's what I've always associated as a muscle car. Before the current generation of American V6's, the smaller engine didn't have enough spunk to have an associated category name. Now, times are different and the V6 has power to back it up. Maybe we should coin a term that refers to the American V6's! And not Motor Trend's term "Hustle Car".

The V6 is a great car. It's personal choice. Not everyone buys for power.

The thing I don't understand are V6 owners that spend $5,000 on mods to get more power....

brb, building up my bank account while still paying all my bills including a car that looks just as good as yours. oh, you can beat me in a race? that's nice, too bad nobody cares

It's just gonna get worse when the Z28 comes out..... SS becomes the middle child but the Camaro V6 gets even lower in the totem pole..... even lower than the Mustang V6. :(
respect to the guys who defended their V6 car vehemently and rationalized to hell why the V6 was better, then only to trade to a SS but men enough to keep the same username and post their defection. Woulda coulda shoulda.

For me its the same reason people bought bolt ons for a mouse instead of just buying/building rat motors for decades now..

Our motors are just a newer mini mouse
