So, there is a God. Statement not question. THANK YOU for clearing that up. I did say to not take that as the Gospel truth until someone confirmed... Can't think of anyone better to confirm or disprove than you.

Now it's the Gospel Truth

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

Hey Fbod, when do you expect the first cars to be rolling into Canadian dealerships? The Canucks want to know if we might get to drive one before winter returns.

And just curious when those Suburbans are gonna show up so I can make sure I have enough booze at home for everyone to celebrate my untimely demise...

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it may incriminate me.

delivery

I dont mind waiting i believe my car ordered was number 11 of the 13 alloted. If my car shows up in late spring great I am excited to able to get it early. If I have to wait and it shows up in the fall so be it. I will just have more cash in pocket when it come to financing later. Either way I am getting the car that I have been longing for for years. I fell in love with the camaro when I had a 95 r/s with t-tops.

This would go against the facts presented, at least as I understand them - in fact since they will be making V6's and V8's at the same time and the first V6's will be going to showrooms, logic would say you'd be in better shape to get your car earlier if you ordered a V8.

In that case, my answer would be yes by the end of July for sure if you are #1 on their list (probably by end of June ).

God I'm gonna hate myself for this... not necessarily true. Oshawa, I keep getting told, is unlike other plants in that it is a flex line capable of "altering" % combinations. While I agree that both will be in production at the same time, 70/30 or something along those lines, V6 to V8, is probably going to be the starting point to get the non-allocation V6s out to the dealers. I would guess that they'll do whatever is necessary to get those V6s to the dealers and at the same time pretty much even out production of the sold orders, V6 or V8. IMO, either car is just as likely to come in first after the non-allocation vehicles.

I can't believe this subject is still alive! You got people who are so on fire over something that may not (and most likely will not) even be an issue (pre order V8s being delivered into October), ready to cancel their order. I understand those who are on a lease and can't wait much later for their car, but I am told by my dealer that GM has a provision to extend leases. I bet they will be more than happy to do so when considering you are purchasing a Camaro. And then there are all kinds of people keeping the pot stirred with "guesses" as though they really have an inside track and/or know absolutely what will happen. CamaroScotty and FBodFather are our best source of truth, and as I view this thread they are forced to continually respond to the same vicious rumors they have tried to squash in earlier post. I am thinking that watching the stock market has less intensity than this subject on camaro5.com! Better yet, for those of us that think we know the future on this subject without having true inside visibility, let's go play the market. Maybe we can make a significant difference in the market with our guesses as well.

I have such respect for CamaroScotty and FBodFather for remaining calm and professional while dealing with the continuous attempts to beat this dead horse. Actually, this analogy may not be the best one as, although this horse is dead, it refuses to fall down! Let's calm down, get positive, and listen to what our true sources are saying. As for Oshawainsider, I may be wrong but, I have not seen anything from him in several days. Perhaps he has posted since then but I have not seen it. I am wondering if he received a request to be discrete in his delivery of information?

I apologize if I have offended anyone as I do not mean to.
