I think it's the angle of the pic because its pretty low.

Yup.. Think you should get the sport springs. The ride is not that bad at low speeds but if you hit a little bump at 45mph+ its pretty bad..

Is it something that is completely unbearable? What are the Pros and Cons?

Why not just get a spring that is a bit higher and with in the limits of the stock struts, that will allow a better ride quality and performance.

There are a number of good quality springs available for the Camaro, it seems that you are dead set on a certain thing, even with numerous people telling you it might not give you the result you desire.

The only pro is your car will look low. The cons are that ride quality will be poor and very bouncy, especially in the rear, and your stock struts will be wasted in short order. If you want more than 1.4 inch or so you really need to look into coil overs.

question to the group: can a set of Super Sport springs setup for a V8 be used on a v6, (would the difference only be ride height)

yes, there would be a small change in height, but not a ton.

Pros: Stance looks great. Low speed ride is good. not to bad

Cons: Really bouncy at high speeds (45mph+). a little scary at about 80mph+ on the freeway and hit a bump (just the rear, fronts cool)..

It's weird I always get the lowest spring offered by H&R for all my BMW and never had an issue with ride quality but these probably are the worst springs I've ever bought. My 2007 550i I had the H&R Race springs in them and it rides like stock and it's a 2" drop all around. I guess the stock struts on the camaro's isn't that strong and thats why it rides like crap. My 550i comes with Bilstein struts from the factory and rides great. Those shocks lasted me 60,000 miles before I had to change them out. I'm going to go with some KW Coilovers.

If you don't want to spend the money on coilovers just get the H&R sport springs I haven't heard anyone complain about those yet.

Thanks iceman, I'm probably going to go with the H&R Sport Springs then. All of that sounds pretty scary and I was hoping that the ride wouldn't change much but at least a few, like you, tried these springs before anyone else so I appreciate that.

I think I just found my new signature! Seriously, thanks for the kind words.
