CAI w/ ADM Race Scoop - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, I just ordered and Cold Air Industries CAI with the ADM Race Scoop and I have just a few questions. I understand that this mod should give me about a 18.6 rwhp gain, and that I'm going to have to remove the washer bottle. What have you guys done to keep windshield washer fluid but removing the bottle? I understand that I can get some sort of bag, but where do I find this product with all the required parts for this to work and install properly? Also, what kind of gain is this at the crank? Thanks for the info.

I have the exact same setup and this is what I used.

MOunted it to the backside of cai box. Just under the old air box mount. You may need to gring the old mount down to slide the washerbottle in and out.

I dont know yet, I am gonna order headers in a week or 2 and then will need a tune for everything. If I go by seat of the pants, It feels awesome.

That part looks good, better than the reservoir bag.
Do you have any pics of this installation?
I also have a CAI, and an ADM race scoop. I haven't installed the race scoop yet, I found out about this whole windshield washer reservoir setup after the purchase.
I love my CAI, it completely changed the car.
Does anyone know how much better the ADM race scoop makes the HP gains? Is it worth all of the trouble?
I live in S Florida, so I use the washer fluid all the time.
Any and all opinions are appreciated.

The CAI gives a 13.1 rwhp gain, but with the scoop it'll give you 18.6.

My question is what kind of power gain are you looking at at the motor?

If my math is correct it would be aprox. 14.75 HP and aprox. 21 HP(w/scoop) at motor w/M6.

No, I was hoping to see pics of the plastic replacement washer bottle installed from RCfiddy. It looks much better than the bag!
