LOL!!! Purple was great... I had the dark green/grey metaillic from 93/94 on one of my Camaros... still the best color I had on an F-Bod.

The salad shooters on that first car make me think it is a 96 or earlier, but sometimes people change rims... yes, even back to uglier earlier styles.

97 interior is best way to tell. Wheels and tail lights get changed...

Well, let's make sure it's not mine.

I see a bunch of the same cars going to school every day. Specifically, an older Ranchera (~1972) and a red Ferrari. I guess they catch my eye because they're unique. I'm going to start waving to the drivers one of these days...

You def should man! The 4th gen guys don't usually wave back to me now :( But when I'm in the 02, they usually do.

you guys wave at other camaro drivers? thats sweet lol. this actually reminds me that i had another 4th gen owner wave at me earlier this summer, and i damn sure waved back. my lady was with me and she did nothing but make fun of me lol, said she thought only ppl who ride motorcycles wave to each other

i need to start waving myself, theres this white late 4th gen with hugger orange stripes roaming around here all of a sudden

and to hell with prince. if i understand correctly the general consensus is that the stairway to heaven solo by jimmy page is the greatest solo ever

One time was even better than a wave. I'm sitting at a red waiting to turn left, and an early green 4th gen is going down the street I'm waiting to turn on (the other way though), and when he sees my car, he honks and waves. It caught me off guard, but I returned the favor.
Another time, I was picking my cousin up from school, again waiting to make a left at a red, and this time, an early 4th gen Z28 convertible pulls up next to me. I look over, see the guy looking, and I give him a nod of approval.
What few 4th gen guys are out there are pretty cool people. I feel like I'm in a tight-nit community. Most of the people buying the new ones (sans the C5 members

) do it for the status or the newness/coolness of the car, but the 4th gen guys are the ones I feel really appreciate the car.

One time I stopped to get gas and there was a pewter 4th gen in the slot next to me and he driver was inside so I just getting my gas like normal and a bright yellow 2010 2ss pulls up next to me. I sat and talked to the guy for a bit, which is kinda cool cause that was the only time I have ever talked to a 5th gen owner

No, I was in Highland Park/University Park in Dallas. I believe the car was owned by one of the men working on building a house across the street.
