Black Camaro - Paint Heritage grill?

I will be getting the Heritage grill soon. In my opinion this should be the grill the Camaro RS comes with. I am liking the ones with no emblems.

What I am wondering is should I paint it? Since it is flat greyish/black does this look good on a black Camaro?

If I do paint it where would I get a small container of matching paint? I would not need much, only a few ounces. Should I shoot clear over the black?

..... um if you don't get it painted then it will just be primer. Which yes is a greyish, but in my opinion it will look like utter *poop* and just be a waste of the $300 some it costs.

the Heritage grille without paint is good on a black Camaro. Especially if you have unpainted GFX. Those two are the same colors

I think it looks better natural....it is not primer nor utter *poop*

the grill blades match the lower grill and the outer ring matches the original parking light portion....

Gloss black on everything that isn't horizontal for a true "insert" look...

That's what we did on ours and a few others locally.

Pics under our Members' Journal.

I went through Garys Customz, all gloss black. By painting it it will protect the plastic from sun fade.

They both look good. Of course the best Camaro color goes with almost anything.
?
When painted though you mask the grill itself and just paint the outer edges?
