I'm also buying one of Fieldgoal00's DRL harness so that the fogs will come on everytime the headlights and/or parking lights are turned on. There is a group buy going on right now.

Thanks man! I'll definitely check these out.

Just received the hid fog lights for my birthday today..do you have some pics of the fog light install i could use to guide me through?! Cant wait to get them installed! just am confused with the wires and wire diagram. another thing is the black and red wires with the pins on them coming out facing the bulb, what do they get plugged into??

That is not the kit I have. The kit I have part number is "camarof" and comming off of the plug from the kit is a red pinned wire and a black pinned wire. Now do I just splice those into the black and purple comming from the original fog light?? Black to black. Red to purple?? Then the rest of the plugs get plugged into the supplied ballast and into the hid bulb??

Someone asked this on the second page, but it wasn't addressed.

He asked if there was any way to install the HID lights on an LS. Also curious about this.

well the LS headlight assembly is no different than any of the other non-RS headlight assemblies... so YES it should work!

Thats correct... the LS and SS are the same. As long as you dont have the RS package...there is no difference

Most HID kits on the market say that the DRL must be disabled. Some forum members have said the DRL causes their aftermarket HID lights to flicker. How come your kit is not affected by the DRL issue?

Thanks!

I think I figured it out; Bi-Xenon kits like this don't have the DRL flickering problem because they draw their power directly from the battery. single beam HID kits draw power from the same outlet the halogen bulb used and the weak DRL pulse is what makes them flicker. Single beam kit can solve the DRL problem by adding a relay harness that draws from directly from the battery.
