We get snow annually here in Northern California in December thru February in the high country. I live @ 2,700 ft. above sea level. They use red lava gravel on the roads here during snow or ice and the rocks do a number on automobive paint finishes, wheels, and windshields. I got my truck to drive around in the winter

I've been trying to decide between the Pirelli Scorpions and the Bridgestone Blizzaks for weeks. Pulled the trigger this morning on the Blizzaks after it did nothing but sleet during my 30min commute to work.

Drove through one winter last year and will drive it again this year. It's my DD. I bought it to drive it. Of course, if it's really bad out, I won't drive, but if I get caught in some snow, so be it.
I have the all seasons on (non-RS) and they worked fine last winter.

Mine is my DD. This will be the second winter with it. Got caught in some heavy snow last year. Heavy snow didn't go great but it made it home .

There is NO WAY I could put my baby away for the winter...I wouldn't smile or dance if I couldn't drive my HWAY STR all yr round....
Here's a photo with the winter tires taken last year...not too bad, right?...
Beats the alternative...I don't have an extra car to drive...the Camaro is my daily driver...
She look good Donna! Its going to be hard for me to keep mine in the garage all winter ARRRGGG!

They are great tires. I have nothing but good things to say about the Pirelli scorpion ice and snows on the stock rims.

If you drive through deep snow you may need to get the snow out if it packs into the stock rims. It may cause your car to vibrate at highway speeds.

Aside from that, you'll notice the pirelli scorpion ice and snows feel a lot like the Pzero's. They just don't grip the corners like the summer tires.
