Ugh... when will I ever learn to not bring kids with me... all I ever do is sit off somewhere by myself and freak out that my 2 yr old is gonna bolt! on the lighter side I don't think there's TOO much sand in my car it would have been pretty fun to sit and chat had I been able to relax... hopefully next time!

Hey guys and gals, this is probably in the wrong place so please bear with me. My 2011 2SS is due in between 11/13--11/15. I've purchased a complete Borla Cat back system with X-pipe and want to get it installed not only quickly but properly. Any recommendations for a quality, trustworthy installer that's not going to rip me off for what is bolt-on job. Speaking of.....what should I expect to pay for a shop to remove the OEM system and install the Borla? Thanks

GEARED-UP is GUNN Automotives custom shop its at Gunn GMC on I-35 @ Judson Rd. They installed my cat back that I bought there, but he told me he will install any system. Took about 1 hour.

Anybody's wallet/purse need a break? I know mine does. Too much eating out gets pretty expensive week after week. Expensive restaurant food is one of the reasons why I'm changing this weeks meet-up spot. Another reason is because our 1st Car Show is this Saturday and we need to formulate our plans.

Instead of meeting at Wommack Chevrolet in Castroville this Friday, we will be meeting at the campus of Providence College Preparatory School, the very place our car show is to be held on Saturday.

I'm having some 6 foot sandwiches delivered from Subway, with chips and sodas (cost to you is only $5 per person). Heck, that is much better than a $60-$80 bill. We can eat out on the porch of the school's historical house (don't worry they have table and chairs) while talking about our plan of attack for the next day. Afterwards, those who want to meet up with the late crew and have dessert can cruise over to TGI Fridays after 9 pm.

Please R.S.V.P. (number your bringing, including yourself) Don't forget to bring cash for your dinner!!!

We'll start eating and discussing at 7 pm. For those that want to get a good look at the campus grounds and where things will be laid out, feel free to come early while we have some daylight. I will be there around 6 pm.

Who's in? FYI - I had 26 people volunteer to help with car show.

BTW - We have 38 cars pre-registered for the car show and a bunch of people interested in showing that day. It is quite possible, we may have 80-90 cars on Saturday!

BTW - The deal for the 72 Camaro fell through last Saturday. So, instead Linda settled for a different ride. Welcome the new addition to our family.

I talked with one of the manager guys at Stonewerks on 1604 & Blanco (same parking lot as the coffee and rides thing on the last Saturday of each month). I talked to him a bit about what we currently do at Fridays, and that we are changing some things up a bit. He said he would be interested in talking it over with our fearless leader, so I said I would pass the word on.

Stonewerks also has a patio, bar, and restaurant area as well as live music. Darrell, I will send you the guy's info and you can go talk it up with him. Dunno what they will/can give us, but he said he is interested.

Also, I have been pretty busy lately fighting off alien zombies, saving the world, and making sure everyone's internets stay up, along with various other children's activities but I will be there to help out for the car show this Saturday. I will be there bright and early in the morning to help out, but I will have to leave around 2pm or so to head up to Austin to pick up my car... So now you all know!

Reminder of weekly meet-up will be held on campus at Providence College Prep School tomorrow, November 12th. The school is located on the corner of Brooklyn & N St Mary's St. Exact address is 1215 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215. Normal Friday show time between 6:30 - 7:30.

A light dinner from Subway will be available ($5 per plate) on the porch of the Najim Campus Center on campus.

For those volunteering to help out at Saturday's car show, this will be a great (last) opportunnity to fine-tune procedures for the event. There will be lots to go over. We want all to go as smooth as possible for our 1st charitable event.

So far the Friday meet-up roster is at 16 people (10 cars...thats weak): Where is everyone at? You are not gonna find a cheaper meal.
