I just noticed something
Everytime a see a picture of the camaro from the front and think, "man that is one beautiful car - those lines are beautiful," I look again and realize that it is the V6.
I want the V8 for every single reason except the front end. I wish I could have the V8 with the V6 exterior.

LS3 engine option from GMPP...makes a V6 turn into a V8.

They should bolt up in the same places. That can be arranged. Likewise, you could drop this under the hood of your V6 and sell the LLT. You might need a bigger hood.

It would be a hell of allot easier to change the front clip of the car than to change the engine. Allot cheaper as well.

Maybe find someone who has to settle for a V6 and swap fronts with them.
![]() Are you trying to hide your V8 to surprise people? I think your crazy.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I like the SS better...I honestly didn't care for one over the other, until I saw them both in person. While the V6 facia has very beautiful, clean lines, and it stays VERY close to the concept...the SS's front end is more menacing, and much more aggressive looking when you see the two next to each other.

Different trans as well. Definate reflash of the ECM.
As already said, just swap the front fascia.

Putting a v8 in a v6 model is probably a mistake. They are not the same transmissions, manual or auto, and are not rated for the torque of a v8.

When using the car properly...you'll find that you don't even notice the front end...but you will notice what's under the hood...

^Very true. I personally like the V8 better. And I know we won't be looking at it in this direction, but I love this shot...
I know this is Jinx's shot and it's not the one I'm looking for. But, if you look at the downward shot of the front end, it looks too cool. I like the added flare of the lower valance. |

Always liked the V6 front better. It looks much more in line with the rest of the car. The 'cheeks', fogs and lower grille on the V8 front look awkward to me. |
