Looking to finally purchase an exhaust for my 1SS. The American Thunder sounds super good!! I was wanting feed back from people who have purchased the exhaust for their SS. Is there a drone at highway speeds, and how bad if there is one? Is the overall performance noticeable? Would you recommend the exhaust?

I really love mine ..not much drone with LS3..The sound is awesome the car sounds great inside and out!!

I have had mine for a while now, they did the install for a PowerTV episode. I have a
L99 and had some drone at first, Has broken in nice and I have since turned off the AFM makes big difference. Moderate sound. The are designing a new product line that I will be testing in the next week or so that will be louder based on their Outlaw line. I will post sound clip and photos when completed.

I have Flowmasters AMT's as well and I love the sound. I have a L99 with AFM off, and I am pleased with the system.

I have the V6 version, but I really love Flowmaster. Made my car come alive and NO Drone. Sure the V8 version is bad assed as well.

Hopefully it will be quite a bit louder than the American Thunder. Flowmaster was probably my favorite tone when shopping for an exhaust but was just too tame so I went with Borla. If it was more aggressive I would have went flowmaster no doubt.

i have amt also for ls3. the problem i had with it is as time pass by the assemply gets a bit of play w/c makes u lose the gap between the tunnel brace and pipes and make that clanking noise. so i went to an exhaust shop and got them welded and adjusted to remove unecessary slack/play. they are phenomenal for the price and the sound.

They are prototyping after I talked with them at SEMA about needing a louder system such as the Magnaflow comp series. Im hoping it will be done this week, They said it wil be a new line available for the Challenger and Mustang as well.
