Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

GM isn't going away. If you like the car, buy it. The quality is there, so now the only way things will turn around for GM is if people buy their cars.

I agree GM is turning it around as far as having cars people want to buy, but lets face facts they are insolvent as a company. Without government cash infusions every X months for the next couple of years they will file for bankruptcy.
Every manufacturer is hurting in this economy, although the reason Nissan and others pulled out of the NAIAS was only partially due to economy. Mostly it was due to the fact they aready did their major reveals at LA and they sell alot more on the coasts then they do in the middle. Porsche wasn't there last year either soley for that reason. La as time goes on will take over detroits show and possibly NY. Who really wants to go to Detroit in Jan. anyway? |

They only need enough time to restructure and lower their break-even point. That time was stated to be through the end of 2009.

2 seat vs. 4 seat? My mom actually went to get a 370Z then decided to get a Camaro. Hah. Also, the 370z has like 304 hp. v6.

I see performance has been studied plenty.
I thought at the time the 350Z came out that it was the best looking sports car to show up in 20 yrs or more. Until I saw the new Camaro. I know I know, maybe I should say 'sporty' car or 2 door but you see what I'm saying. So I vote the Camaro as far as appearance, easily. |

I've never seen the 0-60 times for the Camaro, or overlooked them anyway. Anybody?

It's estimated at 4.6 0-60 (possibly lower) for the SS.
Don't follow the Nissan close enough to recite it's time. |

S2k was also discontinued by Honda. It wasn't worth them adding all the improvements, safety, design into a car that just didn't sell well.
