Good thread. Sorry to hear about your luck, but like most I am impressed with the way you are handling it.

Now more importantly, where exactly did this happen? I'm also in Northern VA and don't want to go anywhere near that street!

Hope to see you on the road sometime soon once you get this all cleared up. Mistakes are tough, but they are what you learn the most from.

Impressive. Glad you learned something from just one of life's lessons...trust me, there's more to follow. But you keep that kind of responsible thinking going, and you'll go far! Bravo Zulu, padawan!!

Speeding

As a grown man in my fiftys . It took untill last year for a car like this , and I am very proud to own her. But we all must learn these lessons that is what makes us wiser?. So the Way to get around tickets and get the trill ? Go to the Drag strip plain and simple controlled setting Safer than the street and a whole lot of fun take your Girl friend too. But she has to have short shorts?LOL. be safer young Man .

If only other teens could read this thread and realize that speeding is worthless. I'm 62 and only had 2 tickets driving 10 miles (in 40 miles lmit) over the speed limits since age 18. But I still do some fast starts, but I quit at the speed limit....And our Camaro now have a speed limiter (warning), this should be a standard equipment. I would even suggest that parents do have a control of the max speed they decide on and block the entry and have a password to verify if their kids did go over the limit (same as stools in big trucks).

I imagine your parents will have a chance to read your comments and give you an other chance in a near future.

Good luck.

shit, i been through so many speeding tickets......lets face it, its fun to drive fast!

but you gotta plan, know, and analyze your route.

hey its your first ticket and most likely it wont be your last.

look main thing? be safe and watch out for the law cuz they love to pull us over!!!!
