As soon as you can get over the 1/4 mile numbers, then you can enjoy your car. This
Challenger is bad ass. These cars are WAY more than their 1/4 numbers, but for some it's all they see and well, "I don't want that piece of crap" If you are so worried about the 1/4, you can always make it go faster. Rarely anyone keeps their car stock anyways. Don't let a slower than expected 1/4 mile time stop you from getting a car that you are considering.

You're wrong. The real average weight of a Challenger Hemi (curb weight) is between 4050 and 4160 pounds, with the R/T setting the bottom end of the scale and the SRT the upper.

My car, without me in it and a full tank of fuel and spare tire is 4057 pounds.

Never call it one! Ford got it right by keeping it light. Both Challenger and the Camaro need to lose weight, but the Challenger more so. An I believe the Camaro is closer to 3800 and 3900 lbs pending on trans
