Bud... you should have checked her oil. I mean come on. At least clean off her head lights or spit shine her rear bumper. I definitely would have taken a peak under her hood and flicked her high beams. I understand you're a gentleman but you could've at least kicked the tires or turtle waxed her tailpipe. From the story I get the impression she really wanted to pull your handbrake. I think you should get a better feel for the gauges and when its time to punch it.... you gotta floor it. Otherwise... you could get left in the dust. Lightning doesn't strike twice.
