I just sold my 1991 Toyota Celica that had 188,000 miles on it. Replaced it with a 2001 Ford Focus with 82,000 Miles.

1989 cutlas cierra 700 bucks 7years ago. 20 miles plus/gallon can't kill it,180,000 miles good enough in the snow.

I can't imagine living in a place where you have to have a winter beater. What are the redeeming qualities of living there?

None, s**t happens.

Trust me, if I could get a job cutting up and working with aircraft at a mojave boneyard my bags would be packed before I finished typing this post.

My original plan was buy a set of winter wheels/tires and slap them on the Camaro for the winter. When I bought the Camaro I "sold" my previous car to my younger brother (meaning he took over the payments and I kept it in my name since he wouldn't have been able to get approval for a loan for it and I would have gotten less than I owed on trade-in). As it turns out he quit his job and refuses to get another so he was going to sell it. It's just about paid off and still is a decent enough car (only 60k miles) so I took it back and have parked the Camaro for the last few weeks. Don't know if I'll last the whole winter though, I miss my baby.....

I'm excited though, it's supposed to come close to 50 degrees tomorrow so I'm gonna get to take her out and stretch her legs a bit. Even took off work to give us more time together.

2001 Honda Passport 4wd, looked at a Blazer before I bought it, the Rodeo is a huge step up in refinement, one of the most refined cars in its classes(It's an Isuzu 3.2 V6 but it's a silky Honda J series-like V6 powerplant with a comfortable quiet ride and no squeaks or chassis flexing). Been very reliable too, contrary to alot of other Rodeo/Passport owners out there. 3 stars in crash test is better than 1 for the Blazer.

Picking up a 96 GMC Yukon on Friday. It has the 5.7 4dr with 140000 and seems to run really good. Upstate ny 4wd is almost a necessity if you don't want to stay home. Of course my duramax 4wd works really good, too.
