I assume it'll weigh in at 3700 lbs or somewhere around that. I still would like it to be much lighter. The power ratio is very impressive, but I would like for it to go around corners as well.

I don't know about you guys, but I like me a heavy car. That was one of my favorite things about my '85. I swung open those doors and there was no stopping them. If anyone was parked too close, or standing next to my car, they were in for a world of hurt. Plus, there's just this feeling of power associated with a larger, heavier car.

Maybe it's just because I'm not into racing or anything. I'm not worried at all about a lack of power, I just think some added weight would be a bonus for this car.

I don't mind a little weight on a vehicle. Makes it feel more planted to the ground. But even I don't want it TOO heavy.

Isn't the G8 GT being listed as like 3800 or something? I assume the Camaro being smaller will weigh in under that.

The third gens were really light, compartatively. Like 3100 pounds, with an iron block.

I wouldn't mind if I payed $250 000 for the car I love so much; at least I know only a few in my country will buy it. It's awesome to be unique. For $25000, the roads will be stuffed by them. Urghhhh. But hey, I can always customise it, right? Paying $25000 for the car, and adding another 25 grand for customisation is not too bad.

From what I have head, the plant is either gutted or is in the process of being gutted. They have to install a brand new assembly line, I think they call it the flex line or somehting. Anyway, the Camaros are scheduled to go into production in 1 year, thats only around 50 weeks, or 360 some days, about 9000 hours, or roughly 32 000 000 seconds.
