Great question; has been discussed at length. Conclusion = Waste-O-Money.

QFT!

The only cleaner I would ever use in my car is Seafoam. It's expansive but it works. The $2 crap you mostly find is nothing but alcohol and does not work.

I used Redline injector cleaner back in the day when I had my bmw while out in cali, I never had injector issues even after 200,000 miles of ownership. I've used it in my Tahoe whenever i can find it. Once every 6-12 months was well worth a little piece of mind.

I use to sacrifice a chicken on the hood of my Eagle Talon to keep the tranny from blowing up. It never did so I guess that works too.

I use it every six thousand in my HHR SS. It's my daily driver. I use the Lucas brand injector cleaner. It won't harm anything, if it helps great, if it's a waste of money I guess I'm wasting $6 every couple of months. Oh well.

Absolutely none at all. Was thinking strictly preventive.

Appreciate all the info.

Run with dirty injectors.

That way you're helping Mustang owners feel better about their POS because they might actualy be able to keep up with you.

You gotta spread the love.
