Who knows how many were actually sold or will be sold?? GM does not disclose that information. The majority are driven to death (literally) and then sent to a crusher. Since I own one I hope to find out someday how many GM has cut loose....

Important to clarify this issue --

There were more than 750 cars built with A9000XXX.

Car number a9000001 will be maintained in the GM Historical Fleet.

All were given Street Legal VINS. (all VINs other than those with 'EX' at the end are street legal provided that they receive any 'retro-fits' that are necessary.)

They are not driven to death. The ones driven to death are those with "EX" VINS (EX at the end of the VIN number) -- and those will all eventually end up at the crusher.

Thanks

Thank you for the clarification! I bought my car, because it was what I wanted, and was at MY GM dealer... The fact that it is a car built before the Hendrick #1 is a fun story, and makes good conversation... Keep up the good work.......

We had CTF #33 and #298-both Canadian cars. I have plenty of photos if anyone out there has either one. Most are driven by GM employees as a daily driver to audit and report on, but are treated very well. Not driven to death, so don't worry.

We had #33 in 12/2008 so #39 was most likely built in December. If that was the car at the Toronto auto show I have some photos for you. It may have been at the SORP gathering in March too-there was an orange marketing car there. Dennis (TJ21) hitched a ride in that one.

Total 2010 Camaro CTF Fleet Production Numbers

Here is some information I've been working on for a little while.
GM certainly doesn't make it easy to get this stuff!

I have also compiled specific car information for each individual CTF VIN as I can find it. If you own one, or know about one, send me a PM with the details so I can add it to my database.
