I cut that section out! and bolted in a "old school" SW tachometer........

haha hell yeah!! i would roll like that none stop.. or it that was on the stereo display that would b dope too! i saw the pic got all happy.. then was going to write hey u got the same amount of gas then me.. and u took the pic wit the door open too and ur camaro is as warm as mines was.. and the same miles.. then i was like hmm..... is that my car? hahahahha

They gave us old people a blank page that are used to gauges, when you display nothing then you tend to notice those big circle things to the left and right that have those sticks in them that move...

it is a blank page, non-editable. All new GM vehicles with a DIC have a blank page built in for the people that don't want anything there.

I keep mine set on digital speedometer, but occassionaly scroll through the other settings to check oil and tire pressure. I'm assuming they have a blank one because some people might not want to show info there all the time.

As an aerospace guy, I'd prefer HAL, no matter how homicidal.

For the first few months that I had the car I had it always set on the digital speedo, until I realized that I was totally ignoring the very retro-looking analog one to its left. Now most of the time it's blank unless I'm using OnStar or doing a quick check of tire pressure or coolant temp or whatever.

"dat wud b dope" means "dat wud b dope" sorta like saying "its poppin'" kinda thing.. and i think its lacking a bit of tech if u can edit it.. it should have something!
