How much would it cost in bakersfield to powder coat set of rims? I really want to paint mines but dont have the right equipments.

Average price here in Bakersfield is $60-75 a wheel.

sweet, you can put flash cards on the edge of the rims so it doesn't get any on the tire. You can probably do all 4 rims with two cans if you only do that spokes on the outside. I used 4 but got the inside of the wheel too.

Only doing half of the car today (takes 4 hours for the Plastidip to set and my buddy has my other two jackstands) sucks that I'm in the process of moving so have to paint them in the driveway which, with this wind we're having in Bakersfield, may cause some dust to mix in a bit while drying but taking my chances. It paints on a little different than expected but not bad, anticipating about 4 coats in the end. I will post up pictures as well as my opinions of the procedure, look, negatives (if any).

Thanks man, total cost for me right now is $12.58 for the 2 cans of Plasti Dip from Home Depot.

Did you sand the rims first? Or did you just clean them up and sprayed.... Looks great and I'm seriously thinking about doing this, instead of powdercoating.
