Look I respect everyone's opion, but I could care less who can out run what. And really what does it matter, I can get on the interstate at over 90 mph easily. I look better than 90% of the cars out there. Girls look at my car at car shows. I don't see people walking up to them and going "Man I Love your Car". So R&T C&D MT they can all kiss off

And yes, it IS a mistake to compare the two. If the Camaro V6 was meant to run against a car costing easily over 10 grand more than the average V6 selling price it would be radically different in so many ways and you know it. (Lexus website has the IS350RWD STARTING at over $38,000 and lists its 0-60 as 5.6 seconds) All I can ask is...why?? Why compare two cars when you know the outcome? But if you want to get down to it, all the Camaro really needs to keep up with this car is basic bolt ons and a set a gears. (either that, or lose about 500+ lbs lol)

I think you guys took a simple post and blew it out of proportion. It was just a question...I've seen posts about running against z06's and what not for the ss's, but nobody questions the price difference there...get over yourselves.

Pics or it didn't happen.
![]() Actually I'm just giving you shit. I agree that this is a moot comparison...the IS is a front wheel drive (or AWD) sedan well into the mid-high $30k range whereas the V6 Camaro can be picked up in the low $20k's. The SS is a better match based on price, but the cars still aren't comparable. |
