In the 2010 testing Stock locked in at -1.6, Halltech locked in at +3.9, CAI with and without scoop locked in at 0. With tuning the stock and Halltech can be brought in to a tighter tolerance. Now I'm not tuning the Camaro so you can see why CAI would be desirable, to the very picky. And that happens to be me.

I don't know yet. Just a gut feeling, but I bet it's not going to be in my desirable range. The bad thing is once I know, I'm going to want it dialed in.

Yea, that's the way I felt when I saw the results of the Roto-Fab test! But I figure it's not bad enough right now to worry about! No offense but I'm kinda surprised that being as anal as you are about FT's and such that you jumped ship for the VR without knowing the FT's or really any other performance specs. I am very curious and can't wait till you get yours dyno'd. I hope it knocks your socks off! Good luck!

I will continue to log to see if there are any changes.

From earlier in the thread when I logged some LTFT's. I have not logged since, been snowing all the time here. However, it runs so damn good, I'm not worried in the least.

Yes, the PCM is attempting to lean out the fuel mixture due to a rich condition. Not bad numbers at all though.

I looked at Ted's test before I bought my first CAI When I bought the VR I was looking for something different. Unfortunately FT had escaped me. When I went back to look at the tests and what I would run if there wasnt a VR, CAI and scoop still looks great on paper. My natural curiousity makes me want to try it to see if adding the scoop gives the same sensation as the VR,

From all I've read the VR isn't a dyno queen and shines with it's nose in the wind at the track. But this is from Vette and G8 owners. I know from daily drving it makes for a great ride to work, and it will never go to the track. A dyno run is the only thing left and I'm relucent but am going to do it anyway.

I've got the name of a couple of dyno places here and have posted in the midwest sub forum to see if anyone wants to get a dyno day together.

LOL, I asked about those FT on post 7 of this epic thread of yours. I was on top of my game after all.

Threads don't usually go this many pages unless there are people fighting with each other. Kudos for starting one that has managed to stay civil.

And for others that don't know, this thread was the one that put me over the top on buying the VR.
