I want it to be clean and returnable to factory color by just buying three lights if I chose to go back later.
Why did you not say any thing i have so many Blue LED'S its not funny, on Sunday PM me and i will take care of you let me know if you need 3 for the dash and will get you taken care of.

LOL I know I should have said something. I actually have the LED's just need the plugs with pigtails so I can wire them to the LED's I have standard 5mm LED's with resistors prewired. That should work right? I was just going to connect them to the end of the light tube. If not I'll PM you Sunday.

Ok think i have everything on the way... I will read and re-read this thread over to see how to do it...

Im good with the human body but not so savvy with cars...

Any photos on how to assemble the LED to the tube?
Do we have to solder?
Where can I get the 5-star torque?

Sorry not very mechanical!

Ofer, ok, if you can make me a 2 way splinter I would greatly appreciate it. I'd rather just use two lights to make it look like it came from the factory and I would rather not cut anything.

Looking at the lights, and maybe Tag will know, but does the GM light lead reach all the way over to the passenger side, from the new splinter you're making me, or am I going to have to lengthen it?

So, let me know what I need to do to purchase splinter and tubes from you.

Thank you for helping. From what I understand, there is only 1 connector behind the instrument cluster, but I want to put two light tubes in like Tag so I will need to be able to put 2 lights into the same connector.

No problem!

There should be two connectors one just behind the fuse panel cover, and another behind the instrument cluster in the harness like in the post I quoted. If you get the splitter from Ofer, it will plug into that connector and run long enough for you to plug in one light on the far right passenger side, and the left side of the passenger side panel. The light from GM is long enough to plug into the connector just behind the fuse panel cover. If you do it how TAG did it you won't need any drilling if you use two or three lights to accomplish this. People are using three lights total because the passenger side is really long and the light does not always make it to the other side it just fades way too much.

This is where you plug in the GM light for the drivers side. This is behind the fuse panel cover.

This is where you would plug in Ofer's splitter to feed the passenger side lights. This one is behind the Instrument cluster.

Thank you again for the help and explanation. Yeah, if Ofer's splitter will basically allow me to do this plug and play and long enough, that is the bomb! LOL. Thanks! Ofer, I'm ready man!!

Yup No Problem, glad I could help. If you really plan to use only two lights total all you would need is an extension cable. But I would definitely get the splitter so that if you do only run two total lights now, and decide you want to add the second light to the passenger side for three lights total, you always have that extra plug behind the dash waiting for you to come to the light side.

Best of luck on your install!

That's the best bet. I sent you a visitor message about getting some ABL's. Your PM's are disabled? Or you can email me at SUMNRSS@gmail.com I don't want to hijack so I'll leave it at that.
